ivan&marthahiphop&ivan was hot. martha was good, but they weren't connecting. smooth waltzi thought ivan was gonna fudge it, but that shit was pretty. the starry lights were pretty, her dress was pretty, his face was pretty. the judges didn't like it. ): travis&heidipaso doblekinda skeptical at first, but i gotta tell ya: i got chills. and the way he SLAMMED her ass on the floor in the end.. i wanted his sex so bad. contemporaryYESSSSSSSSS. travis finally gets what he's been wanting alll this time. heidi had doubts because her body didn't move like a contemporary dancer's. shit, though. that.was.amazing. who knew a 1min dance could make me cry? FUCKING DOWNLOAD IT. NOWZ. best dance of the season by far. just a note, i love mia michaels. her choreography is fuckin' awesome. ryan&allisoncontemporaryanother mia masterpiece. she made'em jump OFF the stage for the ending. <3 i loved it, but i hated how ryan is always so frikkin' tense. it makes things less flowy. don't vote for him. broadwaynegative remarks for ryan and rightfully so. allison did her thang. it was cute, but not wow-ing. dmitry&donyellelindy hopdmitry's gonna get donyelle sent home. grr. and the benjelle coupling is finally broken up. sadness. donyelle's doing great for having a gimp foot. their performance, and not to mention their outfits, were/was adorable. dmitry's full of himself; vote for donyelle only. sambathey brought artem from last season to teach alongside mary. russian boys are hot. they were right about donyelle's performance face; her eyes are impossible to look away from. benji&nataliejazzhis extensions are the best of any ballroom dancer i've ever seen, and i liked her outfit. it made me happy. hiphopentertaining to watch. technique was a bit off. solos:donyelle - this girl has some junk in the trunk. her hiphop was freaky, yo'. dmitry - more ballroom. it never looks too good without a partner. he ripped his shirt open at the end, but his shirt's always open anyways. no big. martha - i was kinda on the phone trying to book appointments for apartments shopping tomorrow. it's okay, she's not that interesting. ivan - how cute! he used wheelies. ^-^ heidi - ballroom. travis - i swear i fall in love with him everytime i see him dance. i will be so depressed if he's ever voted off. natalie - gosh that was a scary song. great solo, though. and she was crying. ;-; benji - ballroom. but like.. cute ballroom. (: allison - very nice. we know she's a great dancer. ryan - i don't like you. why don't you go awayyyy? download the video. i'm telling you.

i need a new aim sn. possibly for lj as well. i just feel like i need a bit of reinvention. suggestions appreciated. (:update. i know, i know. i write too much. i need to upload photos from sf pride '06. lots of naked people. and lesbians. i think it's there's some unwritten rule that says that during pride all ugly people are to wear next to nothing while the hottyhothotties stay clothed. finally registered for the selective service. they sent me a card and everything. x_x jessica got me new clothes. :D okay, so she bought them for someone else but they didn't fit him so now they're mine. whatever. they're free. <3 we were supposed to clean justin's pool today, but he didn't have chlorine. so we went to the mall. on foot. via lightrail. it was mofuggin' hot. i wanted to buy this shirt that said currently accepting applications, but then decided against it 'cause i figured it'd be tacky. apartment hunting on thursday. for real this time. i'm mucho excited. happy hollow and adult video store on monday with long and christine. neither of'em have been porn shopping before, and can you believe that long's never been to a petting zoo?! jesus. kathy griffin is my idol. her show on bravo is hilarious. ^-^ been reading anderson cooper's dispatches from the edge. interesting stuff. plus, he's hot. ----- ~your mouth was so dirty~comfortable ~ john mayerslow and simple. iheartthissong. i woke up this morning to find that all lovely my videos from this season's SYTYCD've been deleted. stupid copyright infringements. ):< went to sfsu for freshman orientation and the registering of classes yesterday. boy, was that fun. my dad dropped me off at about 8am, about an hour early. i passed the time by walking laps around the interior of the student center while looking lost and uncomfortable. finally, it started. we're led to a room up in the 4th or 5th floor of some building and were introduced to the joys of college life. competing for classes and making sure you get the required ones to graduate without making your stay a living hell isn't something i'm looking forward to. staying awake was a problem, too. i couldn't sleep the night before and my red bull high had worn off by the time orientation started so paying attention was major difficult. what was supposed to be a four-hour day became three hours of lecturing and three hours of pure frustration. signing up for classes was a bitch, especially since the freshman G.E. classes were all in high demand. at one point, i just wanted to say to hell with it and leave because i didn't want to deal with it. and i needed to pee. BAD. behold, the fruits of my labor: SPCH 150 - fundamental oral communication 0810-0900 MWF 3units MATH 124 - elementary statistics 0910-1000 MWF 3units ENG 114 - first year composition 1010-1100 MWF 3units AAS 200 - history of asian americans 1310-1400 MWF 3units BIOL 100 - human biology 0935-1050 TTH 3units DANC 176 - modern jazz dance i 1410-1500 TTH 1unit thus, a semester i had intended to be laid back was turned into sixteen units of torture with a little bit of happy sprinkled in on tuesday and thursday afternoons. so not looking forward to public speaking, but might as well get rid of it asap. math is a G.E. requirement, and stats is a kinesiology requirement so i'm knockin' out two birds with one stone. bio was something for me to fall back on in case i didn't get spch 150, but i did so i'm dropping the bastard. plus, i don't wanna get stuck with three hours of nothing to do for two days out of the week. yayatleastigettobeacontemporaryjazzdance r. took the bart home. got all mad because the only way to get bus change at the station is to buy a ticket. i had to pay a $1.65 fee to break my $5. met with the roomies at starbucks by p&w. looks like it's just gonna be me, kim and barbara for the first semester. brother and his friends running around the house, shooting each other with nerf guns and calling each other faggot. oi. ----- ~he loves me, he loves me not~ i <3 m-flo. they're genre is hard to explain.. it's like a cross between r&b and techno.. and hiphop, jazz, etcetc. taku (left) takes care of the mixing and verbal (right) raps. normally, i'd advise you to stay away from asian rappers. they all, for lack of a better word, suck. but verbal's different, probably because he first started out in america. his voice still takes some getting used to, but it's definitely well worth it to listen to their songs. most of their work involves getting guest singers to lend vocals to their songs which keeps them from getting boring. here's an oldie but goodie: m-flo loves BoA - the love bugCurrent Music: the love bug ~ m-flo loves BoA

the disco routine at the start took something cheesy and made it way over the top. they need to take what they were wearing and burn it. poor donyelle's behind the scenes with an injured foot/toe/whatever. hopefully it won't fuck up her career let alone her chances at winning the comp. OSHIT. next week, the couples are being split and randomly paired up. everyone'll be doing three routines--two partnering and one solo--and each and every person will get their own number. the boy and girl with the lowest votes each week will leave, and the judges'll be completely out of the equation. exciting. 0: bottom three couples: dmitry&ashlee travis&martha ): musa&natalie why is ryan safe but travis is in danger?! they're both technically accurate, but ryan's BORING. god, even ryan&heidi were shocked when travis&martha were put in the bottom. solos (click the boys' names for videos):ashlee - dull. gave a long speech about how she deserved to be there. no you don't. dmitry - he's shirtless. again. what a surprise. does the regular ballroom stuff. martha - maybe it's her enormous teeth, but her face just doesn't read when she performs. travis - and travis gets a chance to show us why he's on the show in the first place. plus, he used damien rice's the blower's daughter, one of my favorite songs. beautiful. he even got the waterworks going when he told everyone his mom was here. she's the reason i do THAT. my world will end when he's voted off. <3 natalie - she has this kind of addictiing personality. i barely noticed her in the beginning, but she's really starting to stick out. and i liked that bouncy thing she did. musa - uninteresting. the pussycat dolls looked hot, but their singing was kinda off tonight. stick to music videos, girls. ashlee and musa are going home. good. they weren't gonna last anyways. armageddon is postponed for another week.

0: the couples may be split up into soloists next week.. brian friedman just totally snubbed dan karaty saying his opinions were of the normal guy variety. <3 linked dance styles lead to videos. clickyclicky. :D musalie - hiphopthe dance and dancers were weak. and natalie looked like a two-cent whore, though i think that was the goal. rydi - chachaheidi was great of course, being ms.ballroom and all. ryan looked good doing the movement, but i didn't like watching him in it. even the judges said something was missing. ivison - contemporaryi think i forgot to breathe while watching this dance. those two were in love on that stage. allison was fabulous 'cause this is what she's good at. ivan... oh ivan. i'm mimicking the judges when i say he's matured so much. who knew he had that kind of movement in him? in those two minutes, he easily jumped the gap from cute to hot. ashtry - popdan apparently likes dressing his female dancers like prostitutes. it was boring. it felt wishywashy. 'nuff said. marvis - foxtrotaw. when they chose this style, travis looked all sad and said "am i allowed to cry on camera?" with a shaky voice. why is he so cute? and ogawd he looks so classy with his fauxhawk combed to the side. their performance was smooth and almost seamless. lovely. benjelle - broadwaythey're using music from hairspray. dammit, why'd i pick that musical as the one i'd miss. anyways, fun 60's movement. like the song says, you just can't stop the beat. these two are the top couple by far. no music for this post. you get videos.

so much to say. important bits are bolded. - jessica came over. we were supposed to go over the movement for tonight's performance, but we wound up watching the village and straightening our hair. haha.
- at around 4:45pm, we picked up justin and ventured off to meet up with sienna, alex and lindsey at marcie's house. then mr.marshall drove the bunch of us through winding roads to happy valley camp.. place, where marcie's church camp thing was taking place. the trees there were absolutely huge-gantic.
- we rehearsed for an hour, i guess. probably would've gone faster if we'd remembered the choreography from previous rehearsals.
- the room we practiced in was hotter than colin farrell in s.w.a.t. i was literally sweating buckets after only thirty minutes. my exhausted-osity was probably also due to the fact that i haven't seriously danced since i-dance's concert and that hiphop workshop with the cute guy about a month and a half to two months ago.
- when we got into the performance area (basically the lodge area with the furniture pushed to the side), the kids' faces lit up and everyone clapped. it was a nice feeling.
- we had a good run; few hitches that i knew of. i fudged my double and forgot a count of choreography, but that's not too bad considering my out of shape-ness.
- the little-uns applauded and got up for an impromptu dance class headed by marcie. it was a cute, simple thing, but i was so drained that i had to pull faux energy out of my ass. the kids were absolutely adorable when they performed what they learned for us. the confused expressions, the wild flailing of the arms.. i wanted to steal one of the munchkins so bad.
- afterwards, they all came up to each one of us and asked us to stay for the campfire. how could we refuse those cute little faces, right?
- we had some awesome dinner. stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegan pizza, lemon custard cake?, peach cobbler, salad. i gained back all the weight i lost tonight and then some.
- off to the campfire we went; when i got there they were already in mid-song. there was singing, games, and even a story time. i felt a tad uncomfortable what with all the references to a higher power so i kept my mouth shut when they were chanting godly stuff. i hope i didn't offend anyone.
- my favorite segment was when the kids got a chance to tell everyone what they wanted to be when they grew up. small children with big dreams; seeing that was probably what made my night.
- at the end of the night, we all joined hands in a gigasmic circle, and one of the adults led a prayer thanking their lord and savior for all that's happened and for bringing us dancers to them. he also wished us a safe drive home. i thought that was really sweet.
- the kids ran off to bed in their cabins and the grown-ups stuck around to make s'mores. i had my first s'more then; damn, i've been missing out.
- the adults once again thanked us for coming, and we thanked them for having us. we got in the car and drove off on a good note.
----- ~i wanna be with you~ i'm in a jpop mood today. an utada hikaru--or hikki as her fans like to call her--mood, to be exact. she was, i believe, the first japanese artist i was introduced to way back when. born in new york to japanese parents, she's lived in both america and asia and has become one of the best-selling female pop stars in japan next to ayumi hamasaki. in my opinion, utada's by far not the greatest singer ever, but she does come up with some nifty tunes. distancedistance made its appearance on utada's second album and was meant to be released as a single until she heard some saddening news. there was a shooting at a japanese high school in which schoolgirl reina yamashita was killed. that girl had previously won an essay competition by writing hers about how she wanted to become a singer just like her idol, utada hikaru. utada then decided to change the song into a ballad and thus created final distance. final distancem-flo [my favorite group by far] also appeared on the final distance single, redoing the original song and giving it a stronger beat. taku of m-flo is one of the best mixers/remixers in the asian music industry; he's been called on to work on songs by many other artists. i personally like listening to his version more than the original distance. distance (m-flo remix)Current Music: distance (m-flo remix) ~ utada hikaru

why can't i be you?this is a show on mtv where some loser who's totally unsatisfied with the way they live their life picks out someone who's the embodiment of everything they're not. the lucky guy or girl they choose then guides said loser through 48hrs of all that makes them so lucky. it's kind of pathetic, really. if anything, going up to someone and telling them that you want to be them makes you more of a nothing than you were previously. yaknow? today's subject is sal. sal is a sad, fat, gay man. he's in his twenty-somethings and he still lives at home, plays video games all day, and never steps foot outside the house unless absolutely necessary--like when he's at work being a pizza delivery guy. his only redeeming quality is that he has a boyfriend. how that happened we'll never know. his victim: brad. brad is a happy, thin, gay man. he is an outgoing model with stylish [and slightly flamboyant] clothing, a kick-ass apartment, and many friends. brad also describes anything worth anything as fabulous. so sal walks up to brad's slammin' bachelor pad and shyly asks brad to turn his hairy flab into totally fab. what follows is a series of adventures including a lesson in what is and isn't fabulicious, a dinner with brad's friends, and a day at the spa culminating in a self-finding night at the local club where sal unleashes the inner beast for all to see and finds out what he's really capable of. the irony is that sal and brad show up in the final scene wearing the exact same outfit, and sal says that he's learned that he doesn't have to be brad to be fabulous. long story short, mtv is incredibly shallow. but you already knew that. and you love it. ----- in other news, i've decided to add downloadable music at the end of my posts. it'll give me a reason to update more and the few readers i have'll get a feel for what i'm into at the moment. this post brought to you by justin's sexyback, the new single from his upcoming futuresex/lovesounds album. it's raunchier, grittier, and downright dirtier than anything he's ever done. you dig? ~i'll let you whip me if i misbehave~Current Music: sexyback ~ justin timberlake
